Rod-Man Fishing Charters offers saltwater fishing at its finest. Starting at Wrightsville Beach, NC, and serving Wilmington and Carolina Beach, you can fish the protected inshore creeks and sounds, or challenge the big ones near shore in the Atlantic.

Captain Rick Bennett, owner and operator of Rod-Man Fishing Charters, takes pride in his fishing.

Captain Rick provides the best equipment, including his own Rod-Man custom made fishing rods, tackle bait and ice. You need bring only the excitement, and your food and drink. A family atmosphere is maintained and children are welcome. All fishing is with light tackle so you can "fight the fish, not the tackle."

Whether you are a fishing novice or seasoned angler, Captain Rick will use his extensive skills to enhance your fishing adventure. The boat is located at Wrightsville Beach, NC, at Seapath Yacht Club, a private marina and one of the finest on the coast. You will find the experience to be first class in every way.

The Rod-Man is a Custom (2008) 24 foot Nautic Star Bay Boat. You will find yards of unencumbered fishing space with large forward and aft casting platforms. Powered by a quiet Yamaha 250 HP four stroke engine, the Rod-Man will get you to the fish; less travel time equals more fishing time.

To make your trip more enjoyable the Rod-Man is equipped with the latest in marine technology, including a depth and fish finder, GPS, VHF radio and cell phone hook up. Safety is always a first and the Rod-Man is equipped with the latest in safety gear.

Inshore trips are targeted at flounder, drum, trout, Spanish mackerel, bonito and more. We use both live bait and artificials, depending on what is working best at the time. Fishing is done with light tackle spinning, baitcasting, or flyfishing gear. All tackle is custom made and of the finest quality.

Near shore trips target Spanish mackerel, king mackerel, cobia and more. We still use light tackle and have caught many king mackeral on spinning gear!

Add $100 for a 4th angler
