The last couple of days red drum fishing has slowed a little the strong winds and heat has effected the bite some. The 90 to 94 degree days has made for some tough fishing,but if you are persistant you can still find a few descent red drum.

Red drum bite was outstanding today, catching over 8 slot size red drum the first stop along with a nice flounder,releasing all red fish except for a couple for the table.If you are interested in red drum fishing give the Cape Fear Guide a call at 910-619-0928
