This week’s fishing tip: It’s time to start fishing for flounder in the mouth of the Cape Fear River. The small sharks are gone. Now the flounder, whiting, trout, croaker, black bass, pigfish, spots, etc., have moved in. this is a great place for a lot of action. Falling tide is the best time to fish. Use a light action rod with a double hook spot rig with shrimp for the best results.

Keep fishing and stay safe.
